The CRA has established redevelopment incentives in the form of matching grants for facade improvements.

Eligible projects can include structural or cosmetic improvements to a building that will increase the value and aesthetic appeal. Examples of projects include repair or replacement of exterior windows or doors; awnings, shutters, or canopies; parking improvements; and signs.   

The CRA also funds projects that are of benefit to the entire community.

Community projects have included: stand alone restrooms in Cadwell Park; median landscaping; the Harris Street project which included the creation of a parking lot, widening and improvement of Harris Street, lighting, alleyway paving, a paved walkway from the parking lot to the sidewalk abutting Central Avenue (State Road 19) and landscaping; and the installation of a concrete parking lot at City Hall with lighting and landscaping.
